wiring-diagram.com has been designed as a web application, but can also be used on a tablet or smart phone. With a few little tricks, it works even better!
Tip 1 – Know the available gestures
In the Planning tab, there are 2 options for interacting with the tree that are not immediately obvious:
- Long press: Allows you to move entries in the tree
- Double tap: Opens the context menu, which you can also access by clicking on the Actions button
Tip 2 – Install as an “app”
If you use wiring-diagram.com often on the same device, simply install it as a fixed icon!
This works slightly differently in every browser, search for “Add to start page” or take a look at these instructions:

This also works on a large screen. In Chrome, for example, take a look at the right corner of your address bar.
Tip 3 – Use an external mouse on the tablet
Many tablets, whether iPad or Android tablet, support an external mouse via bluetooth.
So if you find using your finger or stylus too imprecise, this would be a good alternative.
