In some distribution boards, it is planned to configure current measuring actuators and switching actuators in series. The idea here is that one channel of the current measurement actuator can be used to measure several outgoing lines, which can then be switched individually by a second actuator.
We do not currently offer serial connection of actuator channels as a native feature. However, it can still be implemented using an alternative approach. Here, we use an auxiliary terminal block within the distribution board and can achieve the following result:
- SA1 represents an actuator with current measurement
- SA2 switches the individual output lines
- a separate auxiliary terminal block connects both

We have created the example in the configuration as follows:
- under the protection device, we have created an auxiliary terminal block and three output lines
- in the auxiliary terminal block, we have deactivated all line identifiers and assigned the first switching actuator to the first wire.

To connect the auxiliary terminal block to the output lines, we have also created a direct connector.
This connects the second wire of the auxiliary terminal block to the switched output lines. In the direct connector, we can then also assign the actuator channels of the second switching actuator.

We hope this tip gives you inspiration for similar solutions!
