In the Loxone universe, all devices are powered by 24V, so of course power supplies are needed to supply them as well as for any LED lighting or other low-voltage loads.
For both ‘normal’ power supplies as well as the Loxone power supply and backup, you should always start by creating a power supply in the “extra low voltage” area:

The special feature of the Loxone power supply & backup is that it has 7 separately protected outlets.
Our tip: add 7 microfuses under the power supply unit and use the “manual item designation” option to name the outputs synchronously with the power supply unit.
You can also document the planned use and protection of the outlet under “Description”:

Subsequently, you can then assign the specific power supply outlet to all Loxone devices:

Tips + tricks:
- We are currently unable to display the backup output of the Loxone power supply separately (in the diagram). If you connect a battery, install a terminal block for the battery access cable behind the power supply unit and document in a separate note that it must be connected to the power supply unit.
- Loxone also recommends installing the 24V supply as a PELV installation (connect the ground of the power supply to PE). This requirement should also be documented by a note in the wiring diagram.
