3 new Easter features, e.g. power supplies directly at the feed-in

News

Hey everyone,

We’ve just released 3 small new features.

  • In the past, when you switched to the “Free drawing” tab, there was always a brief pause before the drawing opened. Now this only happens the very first time you open it—after that, you shouldn’t notice any meaningful delay when switching tabs.
  • You can now connect both power supplies and the KNX bus power supply directly to the feed-in.
Normally, these devices are connected via a protection device or an isolator switch.

But if the devices are installed in a sub-distribution board where the incoming supply is protected via the main distribution board, this situation does come up.
  • The auxiliary contacts of protection devices can now be reconfigured to a normally-closed symbol.

Important: In automatic planning mode, we can still represent DALI circuits very well via auxiliary contacts, but (not yet) more complex circuits (i.e. monitoring functions implemented via auxiliary contacts).
For such circuits, we still recommend configuring the auxiliary contacts in the automatic plan so you know which protection devices are equipped with auxiliary contacts.

And then, via “More pages -> Free drawing”, repeat the auxiliary contacts to show the control circuit—this should usually be possible on a single compact page.

Have fun with the Easter release!

Best regards
Stefan
