Here’s an overview of the extensions we’ve made in 2025 without writing separate blog posts yet. Have fun reading!
- Easier plan maximization
- New connection options for KNX 24V and 230V binary inputs
- New symbols for signal lamps and motor protection switches
- Export also possible in Italian
- Enclosure layout: “park” devices outside the distribution board
- Free drawing: Gira-TKS symbols and templates now available
- After login: directly to the project list
- Improved touch support for tablets
- Personnel growth
Easier plan maximization
You’ll now find a small “Maximize” button at the top right of the wiring diagram (and also in the enclosure layout and free drawing):

Gone are the days when you always had to scroll up/down a bit awkwardly to see the whole plan. With one click, you can now see the plan in maximum size!
New connection options for KNX 24V and 230V binary inputs
Both 24V and 230V KNX binary inputs can now be connected with reversed polarity.
In some scenarios, the binary inputs are connected in such a way that the potential is first led to the binary input in order to then be led from the binary input terminals decentrally into the building to the measuring signal. At 24V, this is typical for Weinzierl binary inputs, at 230V this is necessary in special cases when devices to be measured switch to N.
You will find a small selection box and sample drawing for better understanding after selecting the binary input type.

New symbols for indicator lights and motor protection switches
Our symbol library for the automatic plan has received two new additions: signal lights and motor protection switches:

You can find the motor protection switch as a subtype of circuit breakers:

Signal lamps can be added directly in the tree view as an independent element:

Export also possible in Italian
Italian is now also available in the language selection for exports.
The setting affects not only the cover sheet of the wiring diagram, but also the Excel exports.
parli italiano?

Enclosure layout: “park” devices outside the distribution board
So far, we have only allowed devices to be placed directly into the grid of the enclosure layout. Especially when the plan becomes a bit fuller and you want to rearrange things, it also helps to have some space “to maneuver”.
We therefore now allow devices to be placed (temporarily) next to the main grid of the enclosure layout:

Free drawing: Gira-DCS symbols and templates now available
In cooperation with Gira, we have expanded the free drawing with a symbol library for the Gira door communication system:

If you jump to the new 2nd page in the templates, you will also find a few templates for typical building installations:

Here is an example with Gira System 106 door stations, control unit video and additional switching actuators:

After login: directly to the project list
Small but mighty: when you log in again, you land directly on the project list. The intermediate “landing page” that only greeted you again is no longer there.
Zap: one regular click saved.
Improved touch support for tablets
You can now also use the planning tab better on tablets. Previously, drag + drop was not well supported and easily led to things being moved that you didn’t want to move.
That’s over now!
You can find more information on how to use the plan in “touch mode” in the new instruction chapter:

Personnel growth
Oh, almost forgot: behind the scenes, we are now permanently full-time as a duo.
Jan-Hendrik has been with us for half a year now and is now well-established 😀

Likewise, “Mr. Enclosure layout and Free Drawing” Kevin often supports us.

We hope you like these extensions and developments!
